Denise's story
Denise is the Lead Pastor and Church Planter of The Well Church in Tulsa, OK. Our main gathering as a faith community is Dinner/Brunch Church, a new expression of church happening around the world. But actually, it's not new. It's very much rooted in the gatherings of the early church when a ragtag band of people who knew Jesus and followed him came together to share life, conversation and food together. Click the link below to learn more about The Well and how we are helping people find their place in God's story. Shaped by a childhood growing up alongside foster children, Denise has been walking the road of faith with students and adults in youth, worship and spiritual formation ministry for over twenty years. She is a writer, musician, preacher and facilitator of creative faith learning experiences. Her ultimate goal in every communication medium is to create space for people to encounter the powerful welcome of God and to offer that same spiritual hospitality to others. |
Denise is the author of Mile Markers: A Path for Nurturing Adolescent Faith, a Christmas devotional called Northstar: Finding Our Way Home to God and numerous published articles, and the free online resource, Real Life Field Guide. Check out her blog for most recent writing and article links. |
